Perfections Beginning

“I think I made you up inside my head” – Sylvia Plath

An unnatural beauty, this holistic illumination

Lighting rooms that should have been darker

My beacon of hope created from forgotten

Dreams, moulded into a sacrilegious creation.

You are my own Matryoshka doll,

Almost-comprised of fragile Russian porcelain,

A painted person concealed inside another

And I have forgotten which one I created.
