Writer’s Block

Three poems, left unfinished.
Waiting for time and creativity and
Confidence.
Dust gathers in the curve of each letter
As stanzas disintegrate.
Loss in thematic value
Causes one poem to turn into two, three.
Incomplete idea’s
Merge to create one uninspiring piece
That leaves nobody satisfied.

    1. This particular piece, especially its format, was inspired by Sylvia Plath. For me, there are no rules to writing poetry, no format that needs to be followed. I write my poems as I would like them to be read. Spacing, stanza’s and capitalisation is my way of helping the reader read my poem exactly as I would like to be read but still leaving them with the freedom to interpret it in their own way 🙂
